Hello!

I am Austin Rodgers, a public history student at the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor’s degree in history. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public History and aim to build a career in the fields of museums or archival work. With a deep interest in the history of World War II, my passion for history has led me to focus on the often-overlooked stories from the conflict. Through this webpage, it is my goal to create a space where tales of Mobile's contributions to the war effort, as well as the broader social implications seen on the homefront, can be accessed by those interested in local history.
